Lahaina Fire, last days…

I thought they were called speed bumps…
Royal cemetery.
This sign made it’s way to the ground, from Lahaina Baptist church…
This giant tree made a big mess all over the church property. Our small team worked with Samaritans Purse clearing debris and sprucing up the church…
These are just two of four fridges/freezers that were inside the church building, without electricity since August 8th. All were full of items that were edible and probably smelled normal, not now! Once a fridge without power goes beyond three weeks, really bad things start to happen. A large amount of some sort of toxic smelling liquid had leaked onto the church floor, it was a smell that made some nauseous. We always duct tape the doors to keep them closed , this keeps the foul smell in. Too late with these guys the smell was definitely out there…
Not a great shot, ninety -nine crosses, some with photos make up a temporary memorial to all those that perished that day. I find it really hard to believe that a tragedy such as this could happen. Very sad. A few days ago, I heard them testing the siren system, too little too late was my first thought. Please pray for the families of those that died, pray the people that lost everything they owned, pray for the city and community as they start over again…

We live and travel full time in our fifth wheel or cargo trailer. We work for the Lord Jesus Christ in Disaster Relief Ministry. When not doing any of the above we try to have as much fun as we can. Possible items you might find here, in no particular order, dirt bikes, quads, hiking, camping, desert living, building projects, stained glass projects, our family, Bible study, RVing stuff, nutrition comments, and just about anything else we can think of....
