Off to the Races…

Glen Helen Raceway in California. We traveled here to watch our friend Bruce and three of his racing buddies compete in the World Vet Nationals.
A lot of rules, not many were followed…
Our campsite before we were parked in from all sides. It was reported from 750-1300 racers. There sure were a lot of bikes…
I think this is the fella that prayed before each race day. That was nice…
Me too!
The weather was cold morning’s, very warm day and cold again by dinner time…
This is a high speed part of the track.
This is Glade from Colorado racing in the plus 70 class. There was also a plus 80 class…
This rider got hit by another rider. We prayed for him and hope he is recovering.
This is the start of Bruce’s race. He is number 5 if you can see him in this poorly shot video…
There is a flying pig at this track, not sure what he represents but Norm really liked it.
We dry camped from Thursday till Sunday and drove a few miles to a full hookup site at a San Bernardino county park.
It wasn’t much to look at, but it worked great for us…

We live and travel full time in our fifth wheel or cargo trailer. We work for the Lord Jesus Christ in Disaster Relief Ministry. When not doing any of the above we try to have as much fun as we can. Possible items you might find here, in no particular order, dirt bikes, quads, hiking, camping, desert living, building projects, stained glass projects, our family, Bible study, RVing stuff, nutrition comments, and just about anything else we can think of....
