From years of traveling Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas roadways l’ve noticed something kind of cool. Almost, not all of the pickup trucks that pass in the opposite direction wave at us. No women, and there are very few that drive pickup trucks in said states, ever wave. No men in cars wave, just pickup trucks. Like a brotherhood of pickup truck drivers. Only these three states, not New Mexico or Arizona. In the past, I have tried waving at fellow RVer’s so we could have a fellowship of nomadic travelers. Never worked out, and my hand just got tiered.I told myself as I loaded our bikes, after hurrying to repair flat tires, that we probably would not use them. We didn’t.This is one of four tumbleweeds that collected together between our truck and trailer. Not a good photo, but heavy wind and dust here in our second day at the Bar S campground. Wind currently is 30 mph gusting to 56 mph. Hoping for better weather tomorrow…

We live and travel full time in our fifth wheel or cargo trailer. We work for the Lord Jesus Christ in Disaster Relief Ministry. When not doing any of the above we try to have as much fun as we can. Possible items you might find here, in no particular order, dirt bikes, quads, hiking, camping, desert living, building projects, stained glass projects, our family, Bible study, RVing stuff, nutrition comments, and just about anything else we can think of....
